082116D
Lyon & Healy, makers of the famous Washburn brand, built many styles of parlor guitars having various features and embellishments. The “Jupiter” model was pretty Plain-Jane by modern standards, but that doesn’t mean old Jane doesn’t feel, look and sound fantastic … ’cause she does. It’s a Jupiter after all.
SPECS: parlor-size body, 12-fret neck, X- braced solid spruce over solid maple all around, slotted headstock with original tuning machines, steel reinforced poplar neck with soft “V” profile, new rosewood fretboard and new frets, new rosewood bridge with bone nut, saddle and pins, 1 13/16” nut, 2 3/8” string spacing, 24” scale, 9 3/16” upper bout, 12 3/4” lower bout, 18 1/4” body, 37” overall length, 4” depth, 1” neck depth at the 1st fret, 1” neck depth at the 5th fret, action 1/8” Setup/braced for 52-11 D’addario custom light strings (EJ26).

SOUND: I would doubt you could find a finer sounding fingerstyle guitar from the early 1930s for the money. Neck profile is no wallflower, but if this works for you, think on this one real hard.
