There’s a good reason why my Martin-inspired Size 2 shop built parlor has grown in popularity over the years. For starters the body size fits just about everybody, it weight hardly 5 lbs, the 4” body depth is enough to improve projection without being uncomfortable and the playability is about as good as it gets. A fine hand made, solid wood true parlor that’s a great value at this price point.
SPECS: true parlor-size body, 12-fret neck with solid headstock, X-braced solid cedar top in relic natural finish, solid mahogany sides and back in relic red mahogany finish, Ablam/cream combo top binding, early Harmony 12-fret neck in relic red mahogany finish, new modern adjustable truss rod, MOP dot fretboard inlays with corresponding side dots, Grover tuning machines, “C” neck profile, new radius’d E.I. rosewood fretboard with new medium frets, new ebony pyramid bridge, repurposed bone nut and saddle, bone pins. Please note that repurposed woods and vintage surfaces will have underlying swirls, scrapes, scratches, bumps and bruises.
SOUND: The solid cedar top is braced for projection and sustain. There’s a whole pile of tone coming out of this true parlor small body. I love this guitar for fingerstyle but light strumming is not a bother at all. Link to video soundclip below.
