Early Gibson L- series small bodies are popular among modern players and this shop built facsimile will not disappoint. With the right combination of tone woods and features, this example is not only nice to look at but also easy to play and great sounding. Cedar-topped tone is rich and warm played bare fingers but still bluesy, punchy and quite present as paired with the figured maple sides and back. Tortoise-style embellishments complete a very classy looking guitar for the money.
