Vintage 60’s Harmony 0-size 12-fret in X-braced cedar/birch with 1 10/16” nut & 2 1/8” string spacing, perfect for smaller hands offering a warm, fingerstyle voice

The Harmony 910 model was designed with a larger body volume than other models produced in the 0-size. The nut and string specs for this parlor are almost identical to the Gibson LG model, however, the shorter scale length makes for easier fretting and a smooth playing experience. Adding an aged cedar top to the rebuild program delivered a full, rich voice for bare fingerstyle or light strumming. Good value for an American made flattop from this period.

SPECS: 0-Size, 12-fret short scale neck with solid headstock, X-braced solid cedar book-matched top in ebonized finish, solid birch sides and back in black lacquer finish, poplar neck in black lacquer finish, adjustable 2-way truss rod, simple dot fretboard inlays with corresponding side dots, vintage tuning machines, “C” neck profile, new radius’d rosewood fretboard with new frets, new ebony bridge with compensated saddle slot, faux tortoise binding on top, simple b/w/b sound hole rosette, unbleached bone pins, nut and saddle. Nut width: 1 10/16”, String spacing 2 1/8”, Scale length 23”, upper bout 9 1/2”, lower bout 13 1/8”, body length 18 1/2”, Overall length 37”, Depth at end block 3 3/4”, Neck depth at 1st fret 3/4”, Neck depth at 5th fret 7/8” Action: 3/32”, string gauge setup: D’addario EJ26 Custom Light gauge in standard tuning.

CONDITION: Complete shop rebuild using original and repurposed woods with upgrades as noted. One top hairline repair. Please note that vintage, used or repurposed materials will have underlying swirls, scrapes, scratches, bumps and bruises. Any new elements/features added during the rebuild were made to fit in with the old.

SOUND: Full tone with above average sustain enhanced by a body size that is slightly larger, longer and deeper than some 0-size parlor guitars. Short scale length makes for easy fretting. Smaller hands will appreciate the specs of this guitar. Setup currently for fingerstyle but I can adjust the setup, within reason, at the customer’s request.

Price: $699
