The last of the Regal factory parlors from Chicago took this shape before collaborating with Harmony and, later, overseas interests. These are solid, work horses that don’t shy away from an aggressive attack. The tone comes out best with a pick, whether strummed or flatpicked, while the compensated bone saddle keeps intonation in check.
