This example was likely a Regal made catalog guitar offered as an affordable alternative to the more pricey guitars being introduced to the market after WWI. Although the original finish shines through, updated top-bracing, new radius’d fretboard with new frets and new adjustable truss rod helped transform this old gal into a wonderful old player with an awesome bluesy vibe. This guitar was gifted to me by a customer with a big heart. A portion of the sale proceeds will benefit our local humane society in the name of his two pups.

CONDITION: Solid rebuilt condition. Retains original finish. Upgrades included neckset, new top-bracing, new “rolled” fretboard/new medium frets, new adjustable truss rod, new bridge, top binding, touchups and setup. Please note that vintage, repurposed materials will have underlying swirls, scrapes, scratches, bumps and bruises. Any new features added during the rebuild were made to fit in with the old.
SOUND: Old time, bluesy tone that comes from aged birch. Enjoys digging in with bare fingers or a flatpick. Full neck plays easy with no dead spots and modern adjustable truss rod will help to keep it playing that way. Don't forget to listen to the video soundclip by clicking the link below.
