Instrument makers from the Boston School(Haynes and others) followed a different path from many of their Chicago School competitors. For example, the tenon-style or “violin” neck joint was favored the Boston School, which this parlor guitar includes as one of its features. Well-made of quality materials, this example was brought back to life after a back-off rebuild to modern standard for structure and playability. Intonation is spot on and playability is smooth as silk.
