c. 1912-17 “Lakewood” Model 720 by Lyon & Healy, parlor-size 12-fret in ladder-braced spruce/birch under vintage finish, 1 3/4” nut, Classic parlor looks with modern tone and playability

The “Lakewood” model 7-series originally came in a number of configurations including floating bridge/tailpiece of which this is one example. The conversion to fixed bridge really brought out the subtle, but warm, tone in the aged, spruce top. The action is nice and low to encourage bare fingerstyle play and the original chunky neck was re-profiled to improve playability for most modern players.
